Time flies when you’re having fun and I can’t believe how quickly it’s whizzing by at Beyond20. As a veteran’s spouse, I have lived and worked all over the world, so when looking for my new adventure, the most important thing for me was the culture. I wanted to find a company where I could grow and be heard, where diversity was not just a myth and that would, first and foremost, be mindful of my family life. Beyond20 has given me all that and then some. A home, a place where I can be myself, and a place where I am trusted to do the best I can. I am always supported by an incredibly talented team, the leadership team is accessible and taps into my strengths to make sure I continue to grow, learn and thrive in my career - and my coworkers are supportive, smart, dedicated and, no lies about it, fun! I feel truly fortunate to be part of this team and I share that same enthusiastic message with the prospective candidates I talk with every day.

Sometimes I say that Beyond20 is a magical place but it's more than that, it's an INTENTIONAL place, which is so much more than magic. For the past two years Beyond20 has been my home and growing place. I started as an Executive Assistant and was quickly given the opportunity to learn more and challenge myself. The thing is, Beyond20 doesn't just hire you for a job, they invest in you and give you the opportunity to try new things without fear. That kind of support is something I've never experienced in a workplace. Two years later I am the Business Development Manager and still learning new and exciting things! We work together, we support each other and we are open to new ideas always. It's a magical thing to know that at any stage in your career at Beyond20 your voice matters. It doesn't matter if you are an executive or an assistant there is no power distance blocking you and that's the intentional part. Our leaders made it their mission to show us everyday that we matter and that they support us. There's really no place like Beyond20 and I'm so happy to call it my home.

I’ve been working in IT since 1992 when I first went into the Air Force as a Communications Computer Systems Operator. Through my career, I’ve worked with many talented and capable people, but never have I had the feeling of TEAM as I have with Beyond20. That notion of team is everywhere in the organization, and is shown day after day as each of us step in and provide assistance to one another anytime a question is asked, or a challenge is faced. We have frequent team building exercises, socialize with one another both in and out of the office, and constantly have banter to keep work fun! It’s truly an honor and a privilege to work with such a dedicated, professional, knowledgeable, and caring family.
