SERVICENOW FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

Mission-Focused Delivery Built for the Federal Environment

Federal technology leaders are balancing mission continuity with cybersecurity, modernization, AI, compliance, workforce capacity, and constant pressure to demonstrate progress. Those priorities often cross programs, contractors, systems, and organizational boundaries.

Beyond20 helps agencies apply ServiceNow across that work, creating a connected foundation for mission services, technology and asset visibility, security and risk, strategic initiatives, and governed automation while respecting the oversight federal environments require.

Where Federal Government Operations Break Down

The work has to be secure, auditable, and accountable, but agencies also need room to modernize, absorb new priorities, and make better use of limited technical capacity. ServiceNow can help connect those responsibilities instead of treating them as separate programs.

Mission Resilience

Critical services and supporting technology need clear ownership, dependable response, and visibility across programs and partners.

AI With Guardrails

Agencies need practical ways to apply AI while maintaining governance, security, trustworthy data, human oversight, and accountability.

Modernization Under Pressure

Legacy environments, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and mission initiatives compete for funding and specialized resources while the current mission continues.

Cybersecurity & Governance

Identity, vulnerabilities, assets, controls, risk, and response require coordinated action with evidence that stands up to oversight.

How Beyond20 Supports Federal Agencies

Beyond20 brings ServiceNow expertise, ITIL discipline, and experience working in government environments to help agencies connect day-to-day work with the broader technology responsibilities behind it. Our focus is on practical delivery: clear governance, usable workflows, measurable progress, and a platform your teams can continue to build on.
Coordinate mission services, shared services, incidents, cases, and cross-program work with clear accountability and auditable decision points.
Improve visibility into assets, services, dependencies, vulnerabilities, controls, and the teams responsible for action.
Connect technology priorities to programs, resources, capacity, funding decisions, and delivery progress through SPM.
Apply workflow automation and AI where the process, data, and governance are mature enough to support dependable action.
Build internal capability through education, process design, documentation, and ongoing support so progress does not depend on permanent consultant involvement.

What This Looks Like in Practice

A federal ServiceNow program should help teams execute the mission today while creating better visibility and control around the changes leadership is responsible for tomorrow. These scenarios show that broader role.

Protect continuity of a mission-critical service

A technology disruption affects a service used across programs or locations. ServiceNow can connect the incident to the supporting infrastructure, affected services, responsible teams, vendors, and related changes so response is coordinated with the context leaders need.

Beyond20 helps agencies define the service model, ownership, escalation paths, and supporting data so the process works under pressure and produces a record that supports both improvement and accountability.

Coordinate cyber risk across the people who have to act

A vulnerability, control issue, or security event can involve security teams, infrastructure owners, application teams, contractors, program leadership, and risk stakeholders. The challenge is turning detection into coordinated, documented action.

ServiceNow can connect the risk or security signal to the affected technology, owners, remediation work, approvals, and evidence. Beyond20 helps design the workflow and governance so accountability remains clear from identification through closure.

Show progress across modernization priorities

Cloud, legacy-system modernization, cybersecurity, AI, and mission programs compete for the same funding and technical talent. Leaders need a reliable way to see what is committed, what is at risk, and where resources can be moved.

ServiceNow SPM can connect strategy, programs, projects, capacity, and delivery information. Beyond20 helps establish the portfolio practices around that visibility so agencies can make clearer tradeoffs and demonstrate progress earlier in the life of an initiative.

Put AI into governed mission and enterprise workflows

AI can help reduce repeat work, improve knowledge access, and support decisions, but federal adoption also requires clear ownership, data controls, security, governance, and human oversight.

Beyond20 helps agencies assess readiness, identify useful workflow opportunities, and design the surrounding controls so AI is introduced where it can provide value without outrunning the governance needed to sustain it.
