THE PROJECT

A state government agency underwent an initiative to configure their Cherwell Service Management tool to better suit their needs. The agency needed their Cherwell administrators to receive training to facilitate understanding of configuration installation, align relationships and forms, and use automated workflows within Cherwell to support their process implementation engagement.

OUR APPROACH

Beyond20 provided week-long, on-site, and remote administrator training for their IT administrators who worked with their Cherwell Service Management tool. Beyond20 delivered an Administration Foundation Course for administrators responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the CSM systems. This training complemented the parallel Professional Services to execute the actual implementation of ITIL processes in the agency’s CSM tool.

THE PROJECT

A large Midwestern city underwent an initiative to improve their ITSM support capabilities through better use of their Cherwell Service Management tool. Despite having utilized Cherwell’s Service Management tools, the city saw an opportunity to improve key personnel understanding of the system and its capabilities. The city needed their Cherwell administrators to understand configuration installation, build new Business Objects, relationships and forms, and easily build and modify automated workflows within CSM, in addition to report generation and dashboard creation.

OUR APPROACH

Beyond20 was brought in to provide on-site and remote administrator training for the city’s IT’s Administrators to learn about Cherwell Service Management. An Administration Foundation Course was provided for those with less experience than desired by city leadership, and who are responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the city’s Cherwell Service Management systems. Beyond20 was able to accommodate the city’s employees diverse locations by offering the course to be taken virtually or as a self-paced training, allowing these assets to be flexible with their training and work responsibilities.

CHALLENGE

A leading global specialty health, wellness, and performance retailer, had implemented Cherwell Service Management, a prominent ITSM solution, as part of their larger IT improvement initiatives. In wanting to better equip its Cherwell Administrators for their configuration and maintenance responsibilities, the retailer sought an experienced training provider to teach key IT assets an in-depth understanding of the configuration installation, align relationships and forms, and to use automated workflows within the tool to make their supporting IT processes more efficient and effective.

SOLUTION

The health product retailer partnered with Beyond20 to provide on-site and remote administrator training for key IT administrators who would be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of Cherwell Service Management tool. Beyond20 further offered the course to be taken virtually or as a self-paced training, allowing assets to be flexible with their training and work responsibilities. The training its IT administrators received enabled them to effectively maintain Cherwell Service Management and to utilize the tool to help IT achieve its business outcomes.
