Course Description
Successful Project Management requires more than just bringing projects to completion on time and under budget. PRINCE2
can help you manage projects from a strategic perspective, in order to ensure that completed projects deliver maximum value to
the business and results that position the organization for long-term growth and success.
What You Can Expect
Course participants will prepare for and take the PRINCE2 Foundations exam (administered on Day 3 of the course) and the
PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam (administered on day 5 of the course). You will learn about key PRINCE2 Principles, methods, and processes
while discussing the practical implications of PRINCE2 concepts in real world project management.
The PRINCE2 Practitioner course will provide delegates with a detailed knowledge of the PRINCE2 methodology, including the seven processes, seven themes and seven principles central to running a project using the PRINCE2 method. The successful completion of the Foundation & Practitioners exams will give the delegate a recognized Practitioner qualification. A certified PRINCE2 Practitioner will have a solid base from which to apply the PRINCE2 method to managing projects in the work place.

The PRINCE2 course curriculum is designed around an interactive case study, illustrating the importance
of a controlled approach to Managing Projects at all levels of the business. In addition to exam preparation and practice quizzes, you will
actively participate in "round table" style discussions and group exercises in order to give practical context to PRINCE2
concepts. This course will prepare you for success on the PRINCE2 Foundations Certification Exam, which is
delivered on the third day of class, and the PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam, which is
delivered on the fifth and final day of class. Candidates must successfully pass the PRINCE2 Foundations Exam to be allowed to sit for the PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam.
Your Instructor
The course will be facilitated by a Beyond20 Black Belt Instructor with at least 12 years' experience managing
complex projects and programs. Your PRINCE2 and PMP Certified instructor will serve as a coach
- leading discussions, adding real world implementation considerations, and providing practical examples.
Who Is Right for the Course
Organizations or Individuals seeing the need for a controlled approach to managing projects. Typical roles include Project managers, consultants and support staff needing a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the project lifecycle, along with the key management documents that should be created during each stage of your project. Previous experience in Project Management is helpful but is not required. The PRINCE2 Practitioner training course provides 36 PDUs for participants who are PMP Certified.
